Electrical discharge sticks are designed to safely discharge the electrical charges present on medium voltage conductor elements after their de-energising. The discharge sticks are equipped with a hand separator, protection plug at the bottom end and a metallic part at the top, that allows the connection of the discharge electrode and the earthing subassembly.
The set can be provided with an aluminium alloy “U” hook or / and a finger type electrode.
The earthing subassembly can be easily connected to the top metallic part of the stick.
It contains an earthing cable manufactured from highly flexible multi-core copper wire, class VI according to SR EN 60228, protected with a transparent insulating layer, directly extruded on the multi-core wire, according to SR EN 61138. The earthing cable cross-section can be 16 or 25 mm2. At the other end of the earthing cable can be attached an earthing clamp or welding pliers.
