Transport tube for insulating sticks

Tubes for the transport of the insulating sticks are intended for the optimal transportation of this equipment with vans, providing their protection against rainfall and UV rays. The tube is made of plastic and it is provided with fastening devices on the cross-support bars mounted beforehand on the roof of the van. The tube is provided with an ejection device for short insulating sticks, if they cannot be removed by hand. At one end, the tube is also provided with a mobile lid attached with a protection system against accidental opening and (optionally) with a lock.

The P 2347-0-00 transport tube for sticks can transport the following sticks simultaneously:

• one telescopic insulating stick with extended length of 6 … 9 m
• one insulating connectable stick consisting with 1 or 2 modules
• one telescopic insulating stick with extended length of 1,5 … 2,2 m

or

• one telescopic insulating stick with extended length of 6…9 ;
• two short-circuiting devices for MV overhead lines with self-tightening clamps, Msp-N-AS3x35/10-O/p type.
