Storm and Flashes detector

Storm and Flashes detector

AFV3000DF

Storm detector:

–  Autonomous local detector, field windmill
–  Patented
–  Measures in real time the electrostatic field variations
–  Gives the high probability of an imminent storm with a local risk of lightning strike
–  Measure reach : 10 to 30 km around the site
–  Warns before the 1st impact on the zone
–  Can be coupled with safety devices: selector, alarm

It is composed of:
– A measure head, which is installed on a mast,
– A control and main power supply unit which is installed on the wall,
– The measure head and unit main power supply (connect on a 220 V network),
– The visualization of the alarms with signals,
– The adjusting of the alarms thresholds,
– The alarms return from 5 terminals,
– The connection to a computer connector SUBD9,
– A RS485 serial junction,
– The antenna reception main power supply,
– Signals treatment coming form the reception antenna,
– The permanent display of the risk level (luminous scale),
– Alarm and pre alarm threshold adjusting,
– Battery control,
– Alarm control,
– The control of the alarm and pre alarm signals with dry contacts for report at distance.

The control unit:
–  Easy to install,
–  Easy to operate. No CEM obligations,
–  Fully operating with parameters,
–  Can be guided at distance with computer.

Flashes Detector:
–  Used to prevent from a lightning imminent risk,
–  Delivers an alarm regarding toan electromagnetic field,
–  Measure reach from 5 to 10 km,
–  The reception antenna detects the electromagnetic perturbations generated by the storms. It is connected to the unit control with a blinded cable,
–  The unit control, modular, is installed on DIN rail.

It allows:
– The antenna reception main power supply,
– Signals treatment coming form the reception antenna,
– The permanent display of the risk level (luminous scale),
– Alarm and pre alarm threshold adjusting,
– Battery control,
– Alarm control,
– The control of the alarm and pre alarm signals with dry contacts for report at distance.
