The insulation piercing clamp for insulated conductors (ENEL model) is designed for preparing the short-circuiting and earthing of the LV insulated conductors mounted in panel boards and cabinets. The piercing clamp is designed and manufactured according the requirements of the technical specification ENEL, EA 0138 RO.
The clamp`s body is made of two elements made of insulating material, flame retardant and resistant to atmospheric agents. The piercing rod has on the outside a hole with a diameter of 8 mm for connecting the phase clamps of the short-circuiting device. Since this clamp represents the electrical current path between the cable and the short-circuiting device, it is made of tin-plated copper alloy. The assembly elements are made of stainless steel.
