The anchoring strap is a component of the protective equipment against falling from height. The anchoring strap is made of polyamide and has a width of 20 mm. The ends of the strap are stitched so as to form a closed loop. The length of the strap may vary from 20 to 200 cm.
The anchoring strap can be used as:
– Anchoring device – a component of the protective equipment against falling from height, being used to connect fall arrest devices to structural anchor points or
– Connecting element between the personal protective equipment against falls from height and the structural anchoring point, along with an energy absorber.
It is strictly forbidden to connect the buckle of the safety harness at the structural anchoring point with the anchoring strap without energy absorber.
