The open circuit cooling towers are towers where the cooled fluid (water) enters in direct contact with the air and needs make-up water to complete the water losses. The open cooling towers have a cooling capacity range between 18 and 14 MW, depending on the model and dimension.
The fill of the tower (or heat exchange surface) is made of self-extinguishing PVC and provided with 20 mm or 12 mm wide flute (air/water channels), specially suitable for industrial applications, reduced fouling, reinforced top layer.
The main casing of the tower can be made completely from non-corrosive materials (GRP) or can have a mix structure from stainless steel, GRP sandwich panels, lid and basin from GRP.
