Insulating plugs are insulating protective devices installed in fuse sockets in cabinets and distribution panels of LV power installations assuring the electrical separation.
Insulating plugs are made of red polycarbonate in two constructive dimensions, depending on the fuse socket type.
By the temporary replacement of fuses, insulating plugs allow the locking in OPEN position of electrical circuits, preventing the accidental occurrence of voltage at the work site.
These plugs are marked with ’’DO NOT CONNECT – WORK IN PROGRESS’’.
