Code: KV-GARD – conductive suit
SB P C – conductive boots
The conductive suit for live works is individual protective equipment with conductive properties that, by the assembly of its components, represents a protective barrier against the electrical field. It is recommended the use of this equipment for any live works in electrical installations with maximum voltage of 800 kV AC.
The conductive suit for live works is composed of a conductive suit (hooded jumpsuit and trousers), a pair of conductive gloves, a pair of conductive socks and a pair of conductive boots. In order to protect against the effects of the electrical field, all the components of the suit must be interconnected.
The materials of the suit, gloves, socks are flame resistant and the conductive boots present antiperforation properties.
Material of the suit
75% nomex + 25% stainless steel
The tensile strenght of the suit`s material (N)
approximately 1200 in warp and approximately 900 in weft
Tear strenght of the suit`s material (N)
approximately 120 in warp and approximately 90 in weft
Shielding effect on the material (dB)
Electrical resistance on the samples from the suit`s material (Ω)
Performation resistance (boots) (N)
1100, symbol P
Electrical resistance of the boots along with the conductive socks (kΩ)
20, symbol C
The materials of the suit, gloves, socks are flame resistant
